Mr. Abi Younes holds an MBA degree from Paris IX Dauphine - Paris I Panthéon Sorbonne (2004), a certificate in political studies from "Institut d’Etudes de Paris” (1990), a Diploma of Higher Studies (DEA) in Political Sciences, with a Major in International Relations from the Lebanese University (1996), a Law degree from La Sagesse University in Beirut (1995) and a Master’s degree in Political Sciences from Saint Joseph University in Beirut (1994). He is member of the Beirut Bar Association since 1998.
Mr. Abi Younes has a strong experience in commercial and business law. He is currently representing a large number of Lebanese and Arabs companies as well as Holding companies with worldwide and international activities.
He is also the legal consultant of several Lebanese and Arab establishments, the most important being “Casino Du Liban”.
In Relation with his work commercial ad business law, he has developed a substantive know how and experience in criminal corporate law and became an expert in this field.
He is also knowledgeable in criminal law; He was called for by individuals as well as local and International NGOs (Amnesty International) to plead in courts and to monitor trials in Lebanon and abroad in cases involving political and media related crimes and other Human Rights related cases. His involvement in such cases stems from his functions within ADDL (Association pour la Défense des Droits et des Libertés), a Lebanese Human Rights NGO active mostly in Public Freedoms and freedom of Association. He is currently the vice president and the Secretary General of the said NGO.
Mr. Abi Younes is fluent in Arabic, English and French.
